Inaugural Chilean Inter-School Championship finishes

The Federación de Rugby League Futbol 13 Chile’s inaugural Inter-School Championship has come to an end with five schools from across the Bio Bio Province taking part in the concept.

The Championship, which featured after-school training, Inter-School matches and workshops featured schools aligned with four of the Chilean Super Liga clubs.

The Schools which took part were Comunidad Educativa del Liceo Crisol (Mulchén), Liceo Municipal de Nacimiento (Nacimiento), Liceo Politécnico de Monte Aguila, Liceo Manuel Zañartu Zañartu (Cabrero) and Liceo Camilo Henriquez (Los Ángeles).

Co-ordinated by Professor Ronald Soto and supported by Diego Ruiz (Nacimiento), Ferec Cabezas (Monte Águila) and Ricardo Coronado (Cabrero), the Federación de Rugby League Futbol 13 Chile hopes to expand the concept in 2020 with more Schools to take part.
