Bogota v Antioquia match announced for early 2018

Following on from a successful Latinoamericano Championship campaign, the Colombian Rugby League XIII elected to capitalise on the interest sparked by the tournament by announcing the country’s first Inter-State match.

The match, which is set to take place in 2018, will see players from around the Colombian capital of Bogota take on the the northwestern State of Antioquia.

The match capitalises on the successful training sessions held in both regions leading up to the Latinoamericano Championship, with the match set to take place in the Antioquia capital of Medellín.

The Colombian national team, the Condores, finished third in the recent Latinoamericano Championship after defeating Brazil in the third place Play-Off.
