Men’s & Women’s titles on offer at Defence Forces World Cup

2017 will see the Defence Forces World Cup expanded to include a Women’s International Defence Force Series in addition to the Men’s tournament.

The Women’s International Defence Force Series will take on an ANZAC Theme with both the Australian and New Zealand Armed Forces set to enter teams in the three game tournament; whilst the Men’s event will feature four national teams.

Participants for the Men’s event will be hosts and defending champions, Australia, 2008 Champions, Great Britain plus Fiji and New Zealand.

Both events will be held in western Sydney.

This event will be the third Men’s Defence Forces World Cup.

MEN’S FIXTURES:
Round One: July 7
11:00 – Fiji v Great Britain : St Mary’s Stadium
12:00 – Australia v New Zealand : Ringrose Park

Round Two: July 9
16:00 – Great Britain v Australia : New Era Stadium
18:00 – Fiji v New Zealand : Windsor Sports Complex

Round Three: July 12
14:00 – Australia v Fiji : Windsor Sports Complex
18:00 – Great Britain v New Zealand : Windsor Sports Complex

Finals: July 14
13:00 – 3rd v 4th Final : Ringrose Park

Men’s World Cup Final: July 16
14:00 – World Cup Final : Pepper Stadium

Round One: July 7
15:00 – Australia v New Zealand : St Mary’s Stadium

Round Two: July 12
16:00 – New Zealand v Australia : Windsor Sports Complex

Women’s International Series: July 14
